Fearless Females is a private, appointment-based women’s training studio, rather than an open-access commercial gym.
The studio is open for scheduled Small Group Training sessions, Personal Training appointments, consultations and other booked services. This allows us to maintain a more private, supportive environment and means our coaches know who is coming through the doors.
-
Yes. If you’re interested in Personal Training or Small Group Training at Fearless Females, the first step is to apply through our website.
From there, we’ll organise a consultation and help you determine which training option is the best fit for you.
-
Most of our Small Group Training sessions are capped at 8 women, allowing our coaches to actually coach you, get to know you and provide individual support throughout your session.
Our 3:45pm and 5:15pm sessions on Monday, Wednesday and Friday can accommodate up to 12 women, with two coaches on the floor.
Small group means exactly that. You are never just another person lost in a packed class.
-
Yes, Small Group Training is one of our core services at Fearless Females.
Our sessions combine strength training, functional fitness, mobility, conditioning and progressive coaching in a genuinely small-group environment.
Rather than simply following along with a generic workout, you’ll be coached through movements, supported with modifications where needed and encouraged to progress at a level appropriate for you.
-
Yes. We offer 1:1 Personal Training from our North Ipswich studio for women who want more individual support.
Personal Training can be particularly helpful if you are brand new to strength training, returning after pregnancy, managing more complex needs or injuries, feeling nervous about exercising around other people, or simply prefer dedicated one-on-one coaching.
-
Absolutely.
You do not need to get fit before joining a gym. That’s literally what we’re here for.
We regularly work with women who have never lifted weights before, haven’t exercised for years or feel completely out of their depth in traditional gym environments.
We’ll teach you what you need to know and progress your training from where you are now.
-
You are exactly the kind of woman we created Fearless Females for.
Plenty of women come to us after feeling intimidated, uncomfortable or simply out of place in traditional gyms.
You won’t be expected to know what you’re doing before you arrive. Our coaches are there to teach you, support you and help you build confidence at your own pace.
If group training still feels like too much initially, 1:1 Personal Training may be a great place to start.
-
Yes! Fearless Females is proudly a child-friendly gym in Ipswich.
Babies and children are welcome during our child-friendly training sessions. We have a dedicated kids’ area, and we understand that sometimes babies need feeding, toddlers need reassurance and Mum needs to stop mid-session for a cuddle. (I mean, we’re also happy to help on the cuddle front)
-
Yes. Supporting women through their return to exercise after pregnancy and birth has been part of Fearless Females since the business began.
We understand that postpartum training isn’t simply about waiting a certain number of weeks and then jumping back into your old workouts.
Your birth experience, recovery, symptoms, strength, pelvic health, confidence and current life all matter. Where appropriate, we can work alongside recommendations from your women’s health physiotherapist or medical team.
-
Item descriptionYes. Our daytime training options have been designed with real life in mind.
Our 9:20am and 10:15am sessions can work particularly well around school drop-off, childcare, naps and the general logistical circus that comes with having small humans. However, all of our sessions welcome children.
And because children are welcome, missing childcare doesn’t automatically mean missing your opportunity to train.
-
Absolutely.
Strength training can be valuable throughout a woman’s life, and we work with women across a broad range of ages.
Whether you’re approaching 40, navigating perimenopause or menopause, rebuilding strength later in life or simply deciding that now is your time to start, your training can be adjusted to your experience, goals and current capacity.
-
Yes.
Women experiencing perimenopause and menopause are very welcome at Fearless Females.
Training during this stage of life doesn’t need to mean treating your body like it has suddenly become fragile. We focus on building strength, maintaining function and adapting training where needed around symptoms, recovery and your individual circumstances.
-
Yes. We aim to provide a neuro-affirming training environment and recognise that not every woman experiences gyms, communication, sensory input or learning in the same way.
If you have particular sensory, communication or environmental needs, let us know so we can discuss what will help you feel comfortable and supported.
-
Yes. Fearless Females offers 1:1 Personal Training for women accessing NDIS support from our private North Ipswich studio.
Our NDIS Personal Training is designed for women who may benefit from more individualised coaching, a quieter training environment, additional support with communication or sensory needs, and exercise that can be adapted around their abilities, goals and current capacity.
We can also adjust the training environment where appropriate, including lower lighting, reduced noise and individual music preferences, helping create a more comfortable and neuro-affirming experience.
Fearless Females currently works with plan-managed NDIS participants. If you’re unsure whether your funding can be used for Personal Training, get in touch and we can discuss your circumstances before booking.
-
Yes.
Our 1:1 Personal Training environment can be adapted to individual sensory preferences, including reduced noise, dimmer lighting and choosing your own playlist.
A private session can also provide more processing time, fewer distractions and greater flexibility around communication and instruction.

If there is anything we need to know before your appointment to make accessing the studio easier, please let us know when booking.
-
The first step is to complete an application through our website.
Once we receive your application, we’ll get in touch to discuss what you’re looking for and organise a consultation if we think we’re the right fit for you.
-
Your consultation gives us a chance to learn more about you — your training history, goals, current circumstances, previous injuries or limitations, what has or hasn’t worked for you before and what kind of support you’re looking for.
It’s also your opportunity to see the studio, meet us and decide whether Fearless Females feels like the right environment for you
-
Fearless Females isn’t a room full of equipment where you’re left to figure things out by yourself.
We are a coached women’s training studio.
Our small group sizes mean coaches know the women they’re training. We offer child-friendly sessions, personalised exercise modifications, 1:1 training, neuro-affirming support and an environment intentionally created around the needs of women.
You don’t need to shrink yourself, already be confident or look like you belong in a gym.
You just need somewhere willing to meet you where you’re at and help you move forward.
-
Fearless Females was founded in Ipswich in 2022, initially providing 1:1 Personal Training with a particular focus on giving women better support through postpartum training and their return to exercise.
Our Small Group Training began in 2024, allowing women to train alongside their peers while still receiving genuine coaching and individual support.
In September 2025, Fearless Females opened the doors to our dedicated women’s training studio in North Ipswich.
